Scholarships for currrently enrolled graduate students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences




Application Period: Dec 26 through Feb 15


The following fellowships are available to graduate students enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Applications are accepted between December 26 and February 15. Recipients are notified in late March. Awards are applied in one-half increments to the student's fall and spring fees the following academic year. You must be classified as a graduate student in order to apply (undergraduates are not eligible to apply).

Submit the application form with your professional resume, transcript, vita and two supporting letters to your department head. Department head will complete the form (ranking the applications from your department) and submit six copies of the completed packet to the Scholarship Selection Committee. (Note: the completed packet is due February 15 to the College office. Check with your department office for their due date which could be one to two weeks prior.)

Caine-Bogle Family Graduate Fellowships for student demonstrating academic and leadership qualities and financial need (requires submission of FAFSA to ISU Student Financial Aid Office by February 14)
Paul and Candace Flakoll Scholarship For M.S or PhD candidates enrolled in a program of study in animal science, food science or human nutrition. Recipients shall possess a minimum 3.0 GPA and show evidence of scholarly performance.
Print and Grace Powers Hudson Scholarship in Agriculture For a student in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences pursuing a PhD or MS degree.
Iowa Farm Bureau Graduate Fellowship for student demonstrating academic and leadership qualities and financial (requires submission of FAFSA to ISU Student Financial Aid Office by February 14)
Dean Kleckner Global Agriculture Graduate Scholarship for student pursuing career related to international ag trade, research, development or related field.
