Ag Week begins Monday with several activities and continues through Friday. Here is rundown of events sponsored by clubs in the College of Agriculture: MONDAY Faculty and staff are invited to have a free muffin for breakfast. Just stop by the Curtiss Hall rotunda starting at 7:30 a.m. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. there will be a barbecue to kick off Ag Week south of the Campanile. A meal is $4. Also scheduled is mechanical bull riding, for $2; roping; Ag Week T-shirt sales, for $5; and a grain bin safety demonstration. TUESDAY There will be a resume workshop at 6:30 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Pavilion classroom. It is free. WEDNESDAY A costume dance is scheduled from 8 p.m. to midnight at The Zone. THURSDAY A chili cook-off begins at 6 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Pavilion. It is free. Ag Olympics is scheduled for the Beef Farm Pavilion at 6 p.m. It is free. A hayrack ride will begin at 9 p.m. at the Teaching Farms Pavilion. It is free. FRIDAY A wrap-up barbecue will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. south of the Campanile. A meal is $4. Also scheduled are bobbing for apples, which is free; mechanical bull riding, for $2; and demonstrations of roping, tree-climbing, grain-wrestling and hand-washing.
