Checklist for IAHEES Project Proposal
- Are objectives clear, specific and stated exactly the same as on the AD-416 form? Can completion of
objectives be expected within the duration of the project?
- Does the justification section discuss the significance of the problem, its importance to agriculture,
rural life, and consumers? Is there a need and advantage of the research approach? Is the impact of the work described?
- Has all pertinent previous and current research been sufficiently identified?
- Do procedures describe the activities that will address the project objectives? Have the working plans
and evidence of design been included?
- Are all references included in the project proposal also cited under section Literature Citations?
- Have signatures of project PIs and their DEOs been obtained on the IAHEES
project proposal signature page?
- Is the DEO memo of recommendation included with the project documentation?
