Ag Study Abroad Update
We have 110 students studying abroad this summer.  There are 4 groups leaving within a week for Mexico, Ireland, Brazil and Scotland.  There are 2 groups leaving at the beginning of June for France and Peru and 2 groups leaving at the beginning of August for Australia and Germany.

Scholarships
The agriculture study abroad office awarded $21,000 in scholarships to 65 students this year.  There were 2 calls for applications and awards ranged from $200 to $500.  All who applied were awarded.

Book Drive
The International Ag Club is partnering with the College of Education's Experience Kenya service learning study abroad program to collect and distribute used textbooks at Egerton University in Kenya.  Each Experience Kenya student carries over 3 textbooks and then delivers them to the University administration during a welcome reception.
