The Fulbright Experience
Opportunities for 2004-05 Fulbright lecturing or advanced research awards in over 140 countries are available to college and university faculty. Awards range from several weeks to a full academic year, and many assignments are flexible to the needs of the grantee. Application receipt deadlines for 2004-05 awards are:

Michigan State University's Global Access Database includes 8,000 annotated resources organized according to various geographical and topical categories. Features include separate pages for every country and world region, as well as pages on the environment, industry and labor, human rights, world and country maps, and region specific news sources. USDA: Rehabilitation of Iraq Ag Sector Critical
As the efforts to rebuild Iraq get underway, two USDA officials briefed reporters on what the American focus will be in terms of the Iraqi agriculture sector. Getting crops planted and rebuilding their dairy industry are two of the keys. Read a complete transcript of the press conference.

Faculty Development Experience in Ukraine
Penn State University is looking for faculty to make a commitment to teach at Lviv State Agricultural University in spring 2004 and 2005. Faculty would need to make a firm commitment to teach in February, March, or April for the next two years. Please contact David Acker, dacker@iastate.edu for more information.
