Career Opportunities
The U. S. Agency for International Development is looking for agricultural professionals interested in careers in international development.  Anyone with an interest and some overseas experience is welcome to apply.  The process is lengthy, so interested persons should begin the application process as soon as possible

The World Bank has created a new program entitled the Junior Professional Associates Program.  The program allows recent college graduates to seek 2-year appointments with the World Bank.  Applications can be submitted on the website.  Complete information is available at:

Faculty Travel Opportunities
Ever considered leading a group of students on a study abroad program?  There are travel grants available for a site visit to check out a study abroad location.  Now is a great time to make your site visit in preparation for 2002-03 programs.  Assistance on the application is available from the Agriculture Study Abroad Office.  Contact Shelley Taylor, 4-5393, sztaylor@iastate.edu .  Site visit applications are due one month before the trip and can be downloaded from:

Cargill is sponsoring a study tour to Mexico for students and faculty/staff from May 13 - 27.  This tour will visit agricultural production and research facilities, businesses and universities in Central Mexico.  Participants will be introduced to issues relevant to agriculture and business in Mexico while learning about the history and culture of this fascinating region.  Funding is available for airfare and lodging for four College of Ag faculty/staff.  For more information, contact Shelley Taylor, 4-5393, sztaylor@iastate.edu .

International Internship Program

Spanish Course
