Students enrolled in the Dean's Global Agriculture and Food Leadership Program learn the cultural, ecological and economic aspects of food security issues. During the spring semester students prepare for a trip to Rome In May. In May 2010 students spent four weeks working with Bioversity International and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. Both groups lead international efforts to alleviate hunger.
