Iowa's CARET delegation visits Congress

The Council for Agricultural Research, Extension and Teaching meetings in March included visits with Congressional leaders in Washington, D.C. The effort is meant to enhance national support and understanding of the land-grant university system’s food and agricultural research, extension and teaching programs.

The Council for Agricultural Research, Extension and Teaching, part of the National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges, held meetings in March.

A report was prepared to share with Congressional officials and staffs.
