Purpose

The Agriculture Faculty Caucus will facilitate the exchange of information between the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences faculty and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences administrative staff. The Agriculture Faculty Caucus will consider for discussion any matters germane to the function of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences when such matters are brought to an Agriculture Faculty Caucus representative by either the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences faculty or administrative staff. The Agriculture Faculty Caucus will advise the Dean on these matters, and will also function to collect information from and disseminate information to the College faculty at the Dean's request.

Committee Composition and Operations

The Agriculture Faculty Caucus will include the Faculty Senate Senators from each of the departments that are in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and any Faculty Senate Senators-at-Large who are members of departments in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

The current leader of the Agriculture Faculty Senate Caucus will serve as Chair of the Agriculture Faculty Caucus. The leader of the Agriculture Faculty Senate Caucus will be chosen by a majority vote of all Senators serving on the Caucus.
