RRD 153 Take Charge: Economic Development in Small Communities
Strategic visioning has become an important tool for community leaders given the realization that localities, both those with growth and those with decline, must assume greater responsibility for their future. Take Charge: Economic Development in Small Communities, a manual for community strategic planning, has stimulated many local community initiatives by providing a model for community leaders to assess past performance, set goals for the future, and create action plans describing how to reach community objectives.
