Connecting Rural Communities

Connecting Rural Communities: Cooperative Extension as a Catalyst is scheduled for June 6-7, 2006, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Connecting Rural Communities is a Web-based guide providing resources and tools that enable Extension staff to help community leaders identify and design projects that improve the ability of organizations and individuals to participate in the knowledge society. Community Development Society

The 2006 Community Development Society conference is scheduled for June 25-28, 2006, in St. Louis, Missouri. This year’s theme is “Communities that Click: Individuals, Families and Organizations Working
Together.” To facilitate the exchange of learning and practice, cross-sectoral learning will be part of the design of every facet of the conference, to help participants unite what they know to what they do. More information is available at http://comm-dev.org/.

Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education

The 2006 Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education national and North Central regional conference is scheduled for August 15-17, 2006, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
