America’s Rural Community Colleges

The Rural Community College Alliance and the Rural Community College Initiative have scheduled a joint conference this year for September 11-13, 2005, in Duluth, Minnesota. National Small Farm Conference

The fourth National Small Farm Conference
is scheduled for October 16-19, 2005, in Greensboro, North Carolina. This year’s theme is “Enhancing Opportunities for Small Farmers and Ranchers.” National small farm conferences are held every three years and provide a venue for small farm program leaders from federal, state and local organizations to learn about successful programs that help small producers enhance incomes to levels comparable to other economic sectors. Building Extension’s Public Value

Building Extension’s Public Value through Community Capital Investments is scheduled for October 26-27, 2005, in Ithaca, New York. This in-service will provide Extension professionals with tools to discuss their work from a public value perspective, and to identify outcomes and indicators for their educational programs.
