Here we provide a sampling of the most credible articles available about wetlands and riparian areas in Iowa or ,in some cases, the region. Most of these articles are from peer-reviewed sources, though in a few cases, non-peer reviewed material is included if it has established itself over time and has been widely quoted. There is a special focus on topics or titles that have been identified as important by advisory group members involved in the development of the Iowa Wetlands and Riparian Areas Conservation Plan. When possible, a text version of these articles is provided directly through this website. In some cases, only abstracts can be reproduced here, with links to more information about how to obtain the complete article. We will continue to add information as it becomes available.
