Or ask your parents for help with the activities in Fun Stuff.   Scout troop and National Guard join forces to restore wetlands--Des Moines Boy Scouts, Explorer Scouts, and high school students teamed up with Camp Dodge, a National Guard installation in Johnston, Iowa, to restore a wetland.   Fourth-graders raise money and release swans--Roland-Story School fourth-graders raised money to adopt a wetland and provided a winter home for a pair of federally endangered trumpeter swans. The students also won awards for their volunteerism.   Monitoring and education go hand-in-hand--Akron-Westfield Community School students are monitoring the recovery of a cropped wetland along the Little Sioux River using water testing, soil testing, and surveys of insects and plants.
