Environmental Studies Club

The Environmental Studies Club purpose is to discuss and communicate issues in the environmental science arena, network with students & faculty interested in the environment, volunteer for projects for community service and practical experience, and provide opportunities for social interaction among students interested in environmental issues.

Student Environmental Council

The Student Environmental Club (SEC) strives to raise the awareness of the ISU community to issues concerning the integrity of our natural environment. Members periodically set up information tables or displays on important issues as well as attend conferences and conservation events. Special projects, which take on greater depth, are aimed at improving local environmental stewardship.

Soil & Water Conservation Club

The Soil and Water Conservation Society fosters the science and the art of soil, water and related natural resource management to achieve sustainability. We promote and practice an ethic recognizing the interdependence of people and the environment.

Engineers for a Sustainable World

Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW-USA) was founded on the belief that engineers and community members can work together to identify and solve technology-based problems, employing solutions that can be locally sustained, leading to an improved quality of life.

Get Involved!

Clubs provide ways for students to explore their interests outside the classroom. They get to interact with professors, their community, and with each other on a more social level.

Currently, ISU recognizes over 600 student organizations.
