Technology Transfer Pilot Plant

Overview

The 3,000-square-foot pilot plant is an industrial products processing and technology transfer facility. A variety of equipment can be assembled, that can then be demonstrated in conjunction with presentations in the technology transfer theater. The facility currently houses a plastic film and sheet extruder, compression and injection molding machines, glue depositing, freeze-drying, and food extrusion equipment. The facility is equipped with a special ventillation system for controlling noxious fumes and odors.
