College level administrative support
College level administrative support is embedded in the normal activities for the College’s Academic Programs. Administrative oversight for SOA resides with the Associate Dean for Academic and Global programs with assistance from the Director of Student Services. They each commit 5% and about 8% of their time, respectively, to SOA efforts. Among the College’s key standing committees is the Student Outcomes Assessment (SOA) Committee with representation from all of the College’s academic programs. The SOA Committee is chaired by the Director of Student Services.

While there is no specific budget line for SOA, resources are allocated as needed to accomplish the SOA goals. For example, resources have been and will continue to be allocated as needed to complete the review of the College’s core outcomes that is described in the Measurement Section.

In addition, the College provides support for faculty to attend SOA conferences and workshops like the one held at Alverno College annually. Faculty members presenting at some national SOA conferences have also received College travel support.
