Superior Achievement Award for Early or Mid-Career Alumni

This award was established in 2010 and is presented annually during Iowa State University’s Homecoming Weekend. This citation honors distinguished College of Agriculture and Life Sciences alumni who have excelled in their professions and who are providing outstanding service, leadership and involvement in his/her community. This award is given to individuals who are 40 years old or younger at the time of nomination deadline. Multiple awards may be given. Selection is made by the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Floyde Andre Award

This award was established in 1978 and is presented annually during Iowa State University's Homecoming Weekend. This citation is intended to honor an Iowa State University alumnus who has made an outstanding contribution to production agriculture, agricultural business or in a position to have a significant influence on Iowa agriculture. Nominees need not be current residents of Iowa at the time of recognition but should have been living in the state, or in close proximity, during the period in which they had a significant influence on Iowa agriculture. Iowa State University faculty members are not eligible for nomination for this award. Selection is made by the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Henry A. Wallace Award

This award was established in 1978 and is presented annually during Iowa State University's Homecoming Weekend. This citation is intended to honor an Iowa State University alumnus who has made an outstanding contribution to national or international agriculture in agricultural writing, teaching, research or leadership. Emphasis is placed on the individual’s widespread influence on agriculture and the accomplishments may or may not be within the State of Iowa. The recipient may or may not be a member or past member of the faculty of Iowa State University. Selection is made by the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

George Washington Carver Distinguished Service Award

This award was established in 2005 and is presented annually during Iowa State University’s Homecoming Weekend. This citation honors distinguished College of Agriculture and Life Sciences alumni and/or friends who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in writing, teaching, research or leadership in one or more areas included in the College's broad portfolio of programs in agricultural, food, environmental, social and life sciences. Emphasis is placed on prestigious and influential contributions to society; these contributions may or may not be within the state of Iowa. Multiple awards may be given. Selection is made by the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
