Ag Online's goal is to help faculty and staff be well-informed and effective in their jobs by providing information, and a few viewpoints, about the college, agriculture, higher education, communications and other topics related to the environment in which we work. Another goal is to avoid information already available in departmental and university newsletters.
Ag Online has five sections: College News (including "Deadlines & Reminders"); Communications Kiosk (tips, ideas on improving communications); Infograzing (facts, resources, news on a variety of topics); External Voices (notable quotes); and Marginalia (interesting, unusual, humorous items).
