TRENDS AND TECHNOLOGY THE FOCUS OF ISU SEED CONFERENCE FEB. 16
AMES -- New trends and technology in the seed industry will be examined at Iowa State University's 20th annual Seed Technology Conference on Feb. 16.
Also to be discussed are molecular markers, identity-preserved grain, future climate changes, emerging seed diseases and Internet opportunities. The Iowa Crop Improvement Association will hold its annual meeting and awards dinner during the conference.
Organized by ISU's Seed Science Center, the conference draws seed producers and other seed-industry professionals from around the Midwest. Registration is $85 before Feb. 9 and $95 after. For more information, contact Carole Seifert, (515) 294-1400.
