MILLER RECEIVES JACK EVERLY JOURNAL AWARD
AMES, Iowa -- Greg Miller received the Jack Everly Journal award at the Annual National Association of Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture Conference for an article he wrote titled, "Cognitive Style Preferences of Agricultural Distant Learners." The article appeared in the December 1997 issue of the NACTA Journal. The award was presented June 23.
Miller is an associate professor of agricultural education studies at Iowa State University, teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses. He is involved in coordinating the teacher education in agriculture program, supervising student teachers and teaching workshops related to instructional supervision.
NACTA is an organization dedicated to the improvement of college teaching of agriculture, natural and environmental sciences. There are more than 1,000 members of NACTA representing more than 125 post-secondary agricultural institutions in the United States and Canada.
He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Auburn University and his doctorate from Ohio State University.
