MEETINGS TO OUTLINE OFF-CAMPUS AGRICULTURE CLASSES
AMES, Iowa -- Information about Iowa State University's off-campus agriculture course offerings will be the focus of nine meetings on the Iowa Communications Network (ICN). The meetings will be held Nov. 17-Dec 4.
The ISU Professional Agriculture (ProAg) program offers two off-campus degree programs, including a bachelor of science undergraduate program and a master of agriculture program. Students choose from 15 to 20 classes offered each semester using several delivery methods, including ICN, the World Wide Web and videotapes.
At the ICN informational meetings in November, classes being offered next spring will be summarized by instructors, the degree programs will be reviewed, and financial assistance opportunities will be explained. People attending the sessions will be asked to share their ideas on how the ProAg program should be structured and how classes should be delivered.
Each meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and conclude at 8:30 p.m. There is no cost or advance registration. Anyone interested in learning more about the ProAg program is encouraged to attend a meeting near them.
